because decorating titles totally isn't cliche So I drew my beautiful friend Dorothy Jane I've known for almost 11 years? C: Promised her I would. <3 Something wintery for you. : D
First of all, we all know your art is truly amazing. And this picture is no exception. The hair is beautifully drawn with the streaks and strands of hair distinguished clearly. The side part stands proudly and isn't lost in the rest of the picture, which is fantastic. The ears are drawn well with good attention paid to the anatomy. The earrings are a really nice touch. The eyebrows and the eyes compliment each other and the eye color is a very nice hue of blue. The nose is correctly drawn as well. The scarf is amazing. The creases and folds of the fabric are present, which makes the beauty of the picture itself more attractive. The print for the scarf I also like and I have no clue how you got it to look so great. The jacket is pretty good, I can see the creases and folds which again is great. The elbow and up of each arm is great, yet the forearm seems a bit too geometric and precise. The zipper is great with the little details. The mouth is good, again. The teeth are well drawn and the tongue is sitting nicely where it should be. Yet something about the shape of her mouth throws me off. The background is beautiful and I love the little swirls of white you threw in on top of the faded lilac. Overall, I really like this picture.
